Terms of Use

Effective July 15, 2026

These terms govern access to Brick Garage, including its browser builder, local saves, Ramp simulation, Career progress, guides, sharing tools, and preview content. By using the service, you agree to these terms.

1. Creative, personal use

Brick Garage is provided for personal creative play, learning, and evaluation of its in-game systems. You may assemble original modular vehicles and machines, save them in your browser, export supported design files, share eligible Ramp result cards or BR1 remix codes, and modify builds that you are entitled to use.

You are responsible for your own build names, imported files, exported files, messages, and published images. Real machines may inspire general proportions or functions, but you should not copy protected instructions, branding, graphics, packaging, or content that you do not have permission to reproduce or distribute.

2. The game model is not engineering advice

The Ramp test is an aggregate-stat game simulation. A prepared build supplies values such as wheels, axles, steering, drivetrain, aero, brakes, estimated mass, and stability to one tuned chassis collider. The simulation does not model independent rigid-body collisions for every brick, real tyre behaviour, material strength, structural failure, or actual vehicle safety.

Distances, speeds, scores, readiness notes, warnings, Career results, and tuning hints are estimates and rules inside Brick Garage. They must not be used to certify, design, manufacture, repair, or operate a real vehicle, structure, toy, machine, or safety system. You accept responsibility for keeping creative play separate from real-world engineering decisions.

3. Local progress and backups

The current release does not require an account or provide cloud synchronization. Drafts, named designs, Career mission progress, Ramp history, local bests, and challenge baselines are stored in the current browser profile. Browser storage may be unavailable, cleared, corrupted, limited, or removed by private-browsing and device settings.

You are responsible for exporting and retaining backups of important designs. Undo history and autosave are conveniences, not guaranteed permanent backups. We are not responsible for local progress lost because site data was cleared, a browser profile changed, a device failed, storage was unavailable, or an unsupported file was imported.

Imported design JSON and BR1 share codes must pass the game's current validation. Brick Garage may reject malformed, oversized, unsupported, incomplete, or unknown content. Opening a remix creates a read-only preview first; saving it locally is your explicit choice and remains subject to current limits.

4. Purchases and optional packs are disabled

Current release status: VITE_PACK_SALES_ENABLED=false. No pack can be purchased in this release.

Pack names, planned prices, proposed content counts, preview labels, and locked-plan badges describe development concepts. They are not a current sale offer, ownership grant, entitlement, investment opportunity, or promise that every listed item will ship. The Pack Lab contains isolated preview material and catalogue plans; previewing them does not place parts in the builder, update Career progress, create a purchase request, or unlock content.

A checkout-style return, local setting, copied cache, installation identifier, or unverified manifest cannot create ownership. If sales become available in a later release, the purchase terms, product details, price, refund information, provider flow, verified access requirements, and applicable policies must be presented at that time. Nothing in these terms requires you to purchase optional content to complete the current core Career missions.

5. Acceptable use

You must not use Brick Garage to:

  • upload, import, export, publish, or distribute unlawful, harmful, deceptive, infringing, or privacy-invasive material;
  • claim that a local score, shared result, or checksum is a verified global rank, security signature, ownership proof, or real-world performance certification;
  • circumvent access boundaries, fabricate entitlements, interfere with content validation, probe private services without authorization, or attempt to access another person's data;
  • disrupt the site, overload infrastructure, distribute malicious files or code, bypass security controls, or use automated access in a way that harms the service or other visitors; or
  • repackage the Brick Garage interface, original writing, procedural assets, or game identity as another product without permission.

You may inspect ordinary public browser behaviour for learning and compatibility, but that does not grant rights to private systems, third-party services, or content outside the public release.

6. Sharing and third-party services

Sharing tools may open a system share sheet, an external composition page, or another website. Your use of that destination is governed by its terms and privacy practices. Review the content before sending it. Once a result card, link, code, file, or message leaves your browser, recipients may copy or redistribute it.

BR1 codes are designed for local remix transfer. Their checksum detects accidental corruption; it is not encryption, authentication, a digital signature, or proof that the sender created the build. Do not use shared codes for secrets or personal information.

7. Service and content changes

Brick Garage is an evolving game. We may add, remove, rebalance, rename, or revise parts, templates, Career missions, scores, storage formats, Ramp formulas, limits, guides, preview concepts, and interface features. A change may alter compatibility or how a future run compares with an older local result. Where practical, supported saved data may be migrated or preserved as read-only references, but indefinite compatibility is not guaranteed.

Access may be interrupted for maintenance, security, deployment, provider, or technical reasons. We may restrict access to protect the service, comply with law, address infringement, or respond to misuse. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, a specific launch date, a particular directory or advertising approval, or delivery of planned optional content.

8. Intellectual property

Brick Garage's original interface, text, game systems, visual identity, and procedural assets are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms grant a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the public service for its intended personal purpose. They do not transfer ownership of the service or grant permission to sell, sublicense, mirror, or create a confusingly similar service from protected materials.

You retain whatever rights you lawfully hold in your original creative choices. You grant no broad ownership of a local build merely by using the browser game. When you choose to publish a screenshot, card, file, or remix code through another service, you provide the permissions necessary for that specific transmission and remain responsible for the content.

9. Disclaimers and responsibility

Brick Garage is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the service will be error-free, continuously available, compatible with every browser, or suitable for a particular creative or technical purpose. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or responsibilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.

You are responsible for using a supported, updated browser; maintaining backups; checking shared or imported material; and deciding whether an external link or service is appropriate. Stop using the service if you do not agree with a published revision.

10. Contact and related policies

For support, content-removal, rights, or terms enquiries, contact the Brick Garage operator through Loopwick. Review the related policies for more information about local data and browser storage.
